Course Description
It is rarely an effective strategy to wait until risks generate unfavorable outcomes and then react quickly to address them "just-in-time.
This technical management course utilizes tools and techniques for tracking and mitigating the broad range of risks and uncertainty inherent in the management of complex projects.
Learn How To
- Assess the consequences of a given risk and its overall threat to your project or program
- Explore options and tradeoffs for managing the risk
- Identify the four building blocks of uncertainty probability distributions
- Understand the "flaw of averages" and its implications for traditional metrics
