As I complete my second and final year as President of the Stanford Cap and Gown Alumnae Board, I leave with only wonderful memories and a sense of accomplishment. When we started in the Fall of 2011, our focus was around bolstering our Stanford Cap and Gown Alumnae community and continuing to drive high quality events. We conducted a visioning session where we were able to refi ne and update what makes Stanford Cap and Gown unique. We have strengthened our community and I am continually amazed at the passion and initiative our board members have for Cap and Gown.
I am excited to hand over the reins to Samantha Quist. She was instrumental in developing and executing our Communications strategy and is more than ready to step in and take Cap and Gown to the next level. I will remain on the Executive Committee to support Samantha in her new
role!
Thanks again to all of you. You have made a difference in my life and I am forever grateful to have served as President from 2011-2013.
