Services provided by DLS

 DLS at Stanford provides the following services for all disability, family leaves, and workers’ compensation leaves:

  •  Administer timecard for staff employees during their leave to insure employee is paid correctly
  •  For faculty, academic staff, or any employees who does not have a timecard: deduct the disability or workers’ compensation benefit from their paycheck each pay period to insure accurate pay
  •  For disability and family leaves: work closely with local Human Resources (HR) and the disability vendors
  •  For workers’ compensation (WC), work closely with the Risk Management department, local HR, and the WC vendors
  •  Provide maternity salary continuation projections 
  •  Manage leave status in the PeopleSoft system
