The Center for Latin American Studies invites proposals for Stanford graduate student-led research in Venezuela.  Through a generous gift from the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation, CLAS will distribute grants of up to $3,000.  Please submit a CV, brief proposal narrative, complete itemized budget, graduate transcripts, and a letter of recommendation from the thesis advisor to CLAS.

Upon completion of the research, students are expected to:

1. Provide CLAS with a written report of the research conducted

2. Give a presentation at CLAS, to be arranged with the Program Coordinator, on research findings

Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year until funds expire.
