DMP Project Delivery Training

The DMP Project Delivery Training course is intended for anyone who is managing a departmentally managed project, or DMP, at Stanford University. LBRE requires that all individuals who authorize a DMP, as well as departmental staff responsible for the project, receive mandatory training prior to the project commencing. Qualification includes agreement to the terms of the DMP policy, as well as completion of the online training and qualification test. The training is sponsored by Project Management Resources.

Our training:

  • Follows the University's Project Delivery Process, or PDP.
  • Covers topics related to Project Initiation, Planning and Design, Permitting, Construction, and Closeout
  • Concentrates on Stanford resources, policies, procedures, and guidelines as they relate to successful project delivery
  • Provides contact information for departments and subject matter experts who can be of assistance throughout the life cycle of a project

Project Managers are responsible for understanding and complying with all University policies and regulatory requirements and always maintain authority and responsibility for their projects.

If you are a new project manager or have not completed training, please enroll in the online DMP Project Delivery Training course in STARS. You must fulfill all qualification requirements before a project may commence.
