The Archive of Recorded Sound has been developed largely through generous donations of recordings, funds, and collections of famous musicians consisting of personal papers, photographs, annotated musical scores, and recordings. All collections are processed according to archival procedures, and made available online over time. Future activities, expansion of the collection, and accessibility to recordings and other materials depend on continued support.
