IN THE SPOTLIGHT


We are pleased to announce that we are offering a combined internal medicine-anesthesia residency at Stanford of 5 years duration.
Year one = 12 months medicine internship.
Year two = 12 months of anesthesiology.

In years 3-5, six months/year is devoted to each specialty.  Graduates will be Board-eligible in both and we expect them to become leaders in perioperative medicine.

We offer 8 categorical anesthesia resident positions in the NRMP match that include a Stanford medicine clinical base year. We also have several other outstanding internships in the local area available to Stanford Anesthesia applicants.
