Divisions
In recent years, the Department of Surgery has experienced tremendous growth and rejuvenation with promotions, new faculty and corresponding new clinical and research programs.
Today, the Department consists of six divisions – with more than 60 faculty and 130 adjunct and affiliated clinical faculty. The Department trains over 130 residents and fellows through residency programs in General Surgery, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and fellowships in Hand Surgery, Cranio-facial Surgery, Breast Surgery, Transplantation, Vascular Surgery, and the newly created Surgical Innovation program.
