SCORE: Surgical Center for Outcomes and Research Evaluation

The Surgical Center for Outcomes and Research Evaluation (SCORE) in the Department of Surgery provides consultative and analytical support to the surgery faculty. The center assists in the development and completion of methodologically and statistically sound clinical and health services research. SCORE focuses on quality improvement, patient safety, technology evaluation, and health policy research.

SCORE, in association with the Department of Surgery, offers the following services upon approval:

  • Study Design
  • Formulation of analysis plan
  • Assistance with the grant application
  • Statistical Analysis
  • Presentation of results for publication
