Monday is the last day to apply under the “limited PSLF waiver” that allows borrowers to receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify. Eligible employers include Tribal, federal, state & local governments and 501(c)(3) organizations.

It is time. The 2022 White House Tribal Nations Summit will be held at the Department of the Interior on November 30th and December 1st. I’m looking forward to meeting with leaders from tribal nations to discuss our shared goals and work.

The Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act provides that Tribes & Tribal Organizations carrying out Federal functions under a self-determination contract or self-governance compact may enter into a lease for a Tribal facility used to carry out those functions.

On Indigenous Peoples' Day, we celebrate the traditions and cultures of Indigenous communities across the nation. It’s part of our mission to honor our trust responsibilities and commitments to Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and affiliated Island communities.

This is a big deal. Our cross agency work, in partnership with Tribes, will help Tribes design and deliver their own workforce development programs in their communities. This is an important tool that Tribes use to offer economic opportunities across Indian country.
