Approaching Stanford Forms - Start Now, Finish by June 5!
In order to complete the online Approaching Stanford Forms, you’ll first need to read pages 1 to 19 of the Approaching Stanford Handbook and the Thinking Matters Catalog. Then go to the Approaching Stanford Forms webpage to access the link to the forms and review the important guidelines.
The deadline for incoming freshmen to complete the forms is Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 5:00 p.m. (PDT).
Yes, they really are due by the deadline - offices across the University start using the information that you provide here right away to prepare for your arrival. If you do not complete your forms by the deadline, we may not be able to consider your preferences when we begin critical processes like Thinking Matters assignments, housing assignments, or advisor match. We don't want this to happen (and you really don’t want this to happen), so be sure to meet this deadline!
You can start your forms, save your work in progress, and then resume at a later time. The forms do not need to be completed in order (except for forms 4 and 5). There is a permanent link to the Approaching Stanford Forms on the Approaching Guide page (http://approaching.stanford.edu) so you can easily navigate back to them.
We will provide tips to the forms as we go along here on the Approaching Guide, and elsewhere.
