How Do I Use Axess?

The official Axess page reads “Axess is the web-based system where members of the Stanford community review and update information in their electronic records. Using Axess, students perform functions such as: add, drop, and evaluate classes; update addresses; review grades; request official transcripts; review degree requirements status; review and accept financial aid awards; and check their University bill.”

As such, getting comfortable with using Axess is important for all students.

Using Axess

Be sure to check out the links at the Registrar's Axess for Students page, which covers enrolling, using Axess to create a time plan for your courses, requesting transcripts and more. The Student Services Center also offers a number of demonstration videos on certain aspects of using Axess: Axess How To Videos.

Once you have logged in to Axess for the first time using your Stanford username and password, it’s highly recommended that you spend a few minutes exploring the various tabs and options.

For difficulties related to enrollment, students should contact the Registrar’s Office. The Registrar's Office provides assistance to students with questions or issues through the Student Services Center, on the second floor of Tresidder Union. Students are encouraged to file a HelpSU ticket or consult askJane for the most rapid response.
