Field Trips and Other Activities

In addition to the two-hour daily scheduled class instruction, you are actively involved in your seminar topic and classmates throughout each entire day. Depending on the discipline and focus of the seminar, you may be conducting research, working in labs, participating in service learning, and going on field trips to engage the discipline in its applied context.

“We met with experts who came to our class or we visited on field trips. Seeing course concepts applied in a real-world context was exciting and invigorating.”
