eBooks & eAudiobooks are a  convenient way to get free library books anywhere, anytime.  They're super portable, and you'll never have late fees!


Check out these options when looking for kids' eBooks:


Axis 360

Axis 360 provides a simplified eBook platform for you to browse and checkout eBooks from the library, free with your Palo Alto Library card.


Overdrive

Download eBooks & audiobooks via the Northern California Digital Library site. Download to your computer, laptop, mobile device, eReader or MP3 player using your Palo Alto City Library card.
Tip: In the advanced search you can limit to Juvenile items

Enki

Expand your reading options and discover an unexpected new favorite! 
The Enki collection features mostly non-fiction and independently published books, including many educational titles.

Bookflix


Bookflix provides Kids' streaming ebooks you can watch and read online. This subscription pairs fiction and non-fiction titles to enhance learning and fun! Requires Adobe Flash player.
 

Tumblebooks

Tumblebooks is an online collection of streaming animated, talking picture books, reading comprehension quizzes, educational games, and teacher resources. Requires Adobe Flash player.

  • Stream in your web browser or use the free app to stream/download on your iOS/Android smartphone/tablet.
