The availability of Steelers OLB Bud Dupree (shoulder) for the Browns game expected to be decided Sunday morning. With Browns DE Myles Garrett already nursing a high ankle sprain, both teams could be without their top pass-rusher.

Stephon Tuitt's new deal (worth $61M, per @AdamSchefter), could include a fairly low 2017 base salary to accompany the signing bonus. That's the way the Steelers have configured recent big-money contract as a way to manage the salary cap and reward the player up front.

Predicting the seven inactives for the Jets: Obviously, the main question concerns the No. 2 QB spot. From what I understand, the only way it's not Bryce Petty is if Todd Bowles still has reservations about Petty's knee. Petty practiced fully all week, but Christian Hackenberg got some reps, too. With that, the inactives: Hackenberg, TE Jordan Leggett, S Rontez Miles, CB Derrick Jones, G Dakota Dozier, WR Chad Hansen and WR ArDarius Stewart.

Just received a message from Bucs wide receiver Bernard Reedy's manager at Care Ride. He told me that Reedy spent the day in St. Petersburg helping people evacuate in preparation for Hurricane Irma. Care Ride provides transportation services for people in wheelchairs. That's been Reedy's offseason job since 2015.

Three Saints have been ruled out for Monday night's opener at Minnesota: LT Terron Armstead (shoulder), LB Nate Stupar (hamstring) and DE Trey Hendrickson (illness). LB Stephone Anthony (ankle) is questionable.

Chargers injury report: TE Sean McGrath (knee), WR Dontrelle Inman (groin), DE Jerry Attaochu (hamstring), Tre' Boston (calf) were all limited and are questionable for Monday's game against the Broncos.

Stark contrast to how the Vikings started last season health-wise. Guard Danny Isidora (knee) is the only player listed as out for Monday's opener. Cornerback Tramaine Brock is questionable w/ a groin injury.

The Lions signed OT Storm Norton off the practice squad and released LB Nick Bellore. Norton had a good start to training camp while the Lions dealt with injuries at tackle. This promotion could mean reserve OT Corey Robinson is not quite ready for game work yet since he missed all preseason on the PUP list. Something to watch when inactives are announced tomorrow.

The Chiefs placed safety Eric Berry on the injured reserve list after he ruptured an Achilles' tendon in Thursday night's win over the Patriots. He was replaced on the roster by Steven Terrell, who went to training camp with the Chiefs but was released on cutdown date. The Chiefs also re-signed running back C.J. Spiller and offensive lineman Jordan Devey. Both were released the day of the Patriots game in cost-savings moves.

Rams DT Aaron Donald may not play on Sunday, but he has stayed in shape in Pittsburgh and it isn't expected to take him very long to adjust to Wade Phillips' system. I would expect him to be playing by Week 2. Rams' defense is fully healthy right now looks very good with him at the 3-technique.

Alden Gonzalez ESPN Staff Writer

Rams DT Aaron Donald reported on Saturday and passed his physical, as Pro Football Talk first reported. He is on the active roster and will be paid this week, though he will not play on Sunday. The Rams will seek a roster exemption, which is standard in situations like these.

Jeremy Fowler ESPN Staff Writer

Steelers have activated running back Le'Veon Bell, releasing linebacker Steven Johnson as a corresponding move. "A lot's riding on (Bell) this season," guard Ramon Foster said.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter

No new deal for Rams DT Aaron Donald at this time, but the two sides will keep working towards one, per source.
