  Getting Started on a Study

Protocols are submitted & reviewed online using eProtocol. Visit our eProtocol page for information on using the system. If you need further help at any time, contact the Research Compliance staff.

Remember that your protocol should be clearly written and easily understandable. Panel members represent a variety of disciplines, which means that some reviewers will not be as familiar with your field as you are.

If you’re ready to jump right in, here are links to the eProtocol modules:

Human Subjects - Institutional Review Board (IRB)
Animal Subjects - Administrative Panel for Laboratory Animal Care (APLAC/)
Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
Stem Cells - Stem Cell Research Oversight (SCRO)
Biosafety - Administrative Panel on Biosafety (APB)/Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC)
