Laboratory Inspections

Environmental Health and Safety has developed the General Lab Inspection Checklist to assist Stanford faculty and staff in identifying and correcting general laboratory hazards. Contact EH&S at 723-0448 for assistance in evaluating laboratory specific operations or if you have any questions.

Laboratories should be inspected at least quarterly, more frequently for some hazardous operations. Completed checklists and the actions taken to correct identified unsafe conditions shall shall be maintained for a minimum of three years (SC County Storage Ordinance B11-307.05).

3. Hazardous Materials Storage Area: Monthly Inspection in Adobe Acrobat

4. Quarterly Exempt Quantities CDC Select Agent Toxin Checklist in Adobe Acrobat.

This form is to be completed only by those who possess toxins listed in this form. If you do not have any, do not fill out the form.
