Anderson Collection

Group of visitors admiring multicolored sculpture art inside the Anderson Collection.

Experience one of the largest and most outstanding private collections of 20th century American art in the world right on campus. Rather than visiting several San Francisco museums to see comparable works from Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson's extensive collection, you can view 121 paintings and sculptures here that aren’t shown anywhere else. Feast your eyes on Abstract Expressionist art by Jackson Pollock and from other major post-World War II movements, such as Color Field Painting, Post-Minimalism and California Funk Art. Admission is free.
