The Carnegie Institution communications team issues oversees Carnegie's branding efforts, press releases, manages digital and social content, and distributes special publications. This office also oversees the institution's library, archives, and various databases, as well as the permissions process for publishing Carnegie material.

Requests for permission to use Carnegie material should be emailed to Maggie Drain at mdrain@carnegiescience.edu or John Strom at jstrom@carnegiescience.edu. The request should include the exact nature and source of the Carnegie material to be used and if the request is about an image, please include a copy. Messages should include detailed contact information for the requesting individual or institution.
