Eitan Fischer

JD student; PhD student in Philosophy

Eitan’s primary research interests are at the intersection of philosophy and law. He is particularly interested in the legal applications of a variety of value-theoretic inquiries. Some of his recent work has focused on issues in normative and practical ethics including problems in population ethics. Eitan hopes to tackle questions which draw on the interplay of normative and legal elements within pressing problems such as international relations with respect to global poverty, our legal and non-legal relationships to non-human animals, and the ways in which legal frameworks may accommodate claims of future generations.
