Erin Cooper

PhD student in Philosophy
Erin’s research interests are mainly in political philosophy and its intersections with ethics, bioethics, philosophy of action, feminism, and the history of philosophy, especially Kant and German idealism. She also has an interest in the implications for political philosophy of current developments in the European Union. Her current work focuses on the impacts of market pressures on individual reproductive choices and the implications for political legitimacy of policies aimed at addressing demographic shifts, in particular pro-natalist policies within the EU.
