The Team

Founded in 2005, the Mills Legal Clinic provides individualized, hands-on learning opportunities for students at Stanford Law School. Students enrolled in one of the eleven clinical programs spend a full academic quarter working on real cases with real clients, experiencing the full breadth of legal practice under the supervision and guidance of our experienced faculty and supervising attorneys. The Mills Legal Clinic is unique in that students perform their clinic work full-time, which allows them to fully immerse themselves in the study of solving real-world challenges on behalf of actual clients.

The Mills Legal Clinic is a training ground for future lawyers regardless of their career aspirations—whether to join a large firm, become entrepreneurs, make policy, or engage in public service. It is a vital part of our mission to prepare every student for the challenges, responsibilities, and rewards of a career as a legal professional.
