David Dempsey , Now assistant professor at the Department of Engineering Science, the University of Auckland
David Dempsey is a postdoc working with the Stanford Center
for Induced and Triggered Seismicity. He joined Stanford after a two year
postdoc at Los Alamos National Laboratory studying geothermal well stimulation,
carbon sequestration and induced seismicity. David's doctoral thesis
investigated evolution of geothermal fields and fault systems in New Zealand
using numerical models and was completed at the University of Auckland, New
Zealand. He has also has an MSc from the University of Otago, New Zealand, developing
models Antarctic sea ice evolution.
