Welcome back to SIG! Exciting things are happening on the Farm. As we begin the launch of Cardinal Service, we at SIG have seen an unbelievable amount of energy and enthusiasm for policy and public service! There are now over 100 students engaged in SIG, from fellowships to programming and more.

In the first few weeks of school, we’ve had a freshman dinner with Frank Fukuyama, a huge Kickoff Event for new members, a discussion about national security with Senator John McCain, and policy lunch with the chief Washington correspondent of the New York Times. Our fellowships and stipends programs are expanding once more. We’re sending students around the world every year, from Mumbai to Santa Clara, from Capitol Hill to the United Nations. You can hear some of our summer fellows talk about their experiences here.

There are so many ways for you to support us as we continue to grow.

Thank you for your support. I am inspired everyday by the number of students passionate about policy and public service. Your support gives them a home on campus. Please reach out to us at stanfordingov@gmail.com if you have any questions or comments. We’d love to hear from you!
