As plans for graduation and life after Stanford begin to take shape, follow these steps to ensure timely completion of graduation requirements:
- Check degree progress; consult with your department’s student services administrator to ensure satisfaction of all requirements
- Apply to graduate
- Investigate career opportunities in partnership with your department or program
- Consult with a UAR pre-professional advisor for guidance with Pre-Health, Pre-Law, Pre-Business, or Pre-Education programs
- Visit the Career Development Center for career coaching and job opportunities
- Look into fellowship opportunities in your areas of interest with UAR and the ORC
- Take your co-curricular engagement to another level – explore leadership opportunities in your clubs and organizations; engage in your community and visit the Haas Center for Public Service
- Request letters of recommendations from trusted faculty and staff for future graduate or professional school applications;
- Relish in the Stanford traditions and embrace your senior year;
- Connect with the Alumni Association and learn how to stay connected in your post-Stanford years;
- Thank your faculty, your mentors, and others who have helped you through your journey, and who have made your forthcoming graduation possible.
