Kevin is a Lecturer in Urban Studies, with a background in Civil & Environmental Engineering. He also coordinates “Democratic Development,” a global, online education project based out of the Center on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law (CDDRL) at Stanford. He previously spent time as a research fellow in Beijing, China at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and the Asian Development Bank. Kevin runs Skyship Design, an educational design studio dedicated to crafting innovative experiences for students. The studio specializes in the development of open online classes (MOOCs) with a social mission, including Norway’s first MOOC for a worldwide audience on the topic of international development. He holds a B.S. in Earth Systems and a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University, as well as a Master’s degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Atmosphere/Energy program.
