The number of migrants making the treacherous journey across the Mediterranian sea to Europe is growing by the day.
Over a number of years, the wars in Syria and Libya have forced people to make desperate choices and take risks. 3,500 people died making the crossing in 2014 and so far this year (2015), more than 900 migrants’ bodies have been recovered from the sea. Predictions are that with summer coming that number will jump.
