Fuji TV filming at SUL

On November 12, 2015, a team from Fuji Television Network in Japan came to SAL 1/2 to film a Japanese book entitled Tsuyama jiken hokokusho, an investigative report issued by the Ministry of Justice of Japan on a mass-shooting, murder spree that took place in Okayama Prefecture in 1938.

The East Asia Library of Stanford owns the only known copy of the book outside of Japan. The Ministry of Justice of Japan owns the other copy that is not open to the public. The footage will be used for a news segment to be aired in Japan on December 12, 2015. Jacob Cohn from SUL Facilities and Mieko Mazza from EAL assisted the Japanese TV team during the filming.
