'Blair and Brown tried to woo me' | Owen Jones meets Shami Chakrabarti ► http://bit.ly/OwenShami

Shami Chakrabarti tells Owen Jones that Tony Blair and Gordon Brown, among others, tried to woo her politically during her tenure as the director of Liberty, the role she recently left after more than a decade at the helm. Chakrabarti also condemns David Cameron’s use of ‘dehumanising’ language during the refugee crisis in Europe and discusses the importance of the Human Rights Act with the Guardian columnist

¿Who will give ASYLUM to  the Judaeo Christian, loving, forgiving Brits and Europeans  after their Granaries Treasuries, Health and Educational facilities have been bankrupted  by Unarmed,  Uninvited hordes of emotionally and physically stressed  individuals whose only baggage were  alien customs, languages,  and social practices.?
Face up to reality!
A BLOOD  SWEAT AND TEARS MINDSET  is urgently needed by those nations suffering the outrageous fortune of the “migrant crisis.”
Social peace must once again be painfully earned.
Brits and Continentals should remember Benjamin Franklin’s appraisal “ We must hang together or most assuredly we will be hanged separately.

The leftwing case for nuclear weapons – Paul Mason | Comment is Free ► http://bit.ly/TridentMason

Jeremy Corbyn needs to bury his opposition to nuclear weapons and vote to keep Trident, argues Paul Mason, to allow Labour the chance to form a government in 2020 and counter the Conservatives’ incoherent military policies. Mason believes with the Trident issue out of the way, Labour could focus on issues such as the NHS and public assets in private ownership.

Owen Jones meets Daniel Hannan: 'Brexit vote is a once in a generation referendum'  ► http://bit.ly/JonesHannan

Eurosceptic Tory MEP Daniel Hannan has made it his life’s work to campaign to get Britain out of the European Union. But he tells Owen Jones that the EU referendum on 23 June could be a once-in-a-generation chance – and if there is a decisive vote to remain, he will accept the views of the British public.

We're being forced to fix our own mental health. And it's not working | Comment is Freehttp://bit.ly/MentalHealthCiF

We are a nation of people waiting for mental health treatment, says journalist Deborah Coughlin. She spent years battling an agoraphobic panic disorder, while being repeatedly fobbed off and put on waiting lists by the NHS. With people self medicating, taking inappropriate antidepressants and attempting suicide, she argues, the health service needs the ability to help people properly.

I'm sure this is important because we are living organisms. I think the wireless radiation is also causing a lot of mental anxiety and physiological imbalances perceived as 'mental illness.' Most of it is probably "Environ-Mental Illness." And male bodies also react differently based on hormones, etc., from females and children. A lot to consider regarding this issue, and a lot of area to cover if people really care about mental health, spiritual peace and healing.

The menstruating Nepalese women confined to a cowshedhttp://bit.ly/PeriodCowshed

In parts of rural western Nepal, women are forced to live in cowsheds during their periods and immediately after childbirth. The practice, known as Chhaupadi, is linked to disease and even the deaths of babies, who stay with their mothers in the sheds. But a local shaman – and some of the women – insist Chhaupadi is the will of the gods and cannot be changed.

Mark Townsend asks why Ibrahim Kamara and brothers Abdullah, Jaffar and Amer Deghayes left their homes in Brighton to travel to Syria to join an al-Qaida affiliated group. What clues were missed? What was it about them that should have alerted the authorities to their potential radicalisation?

Because us adults are still debating about religion which continues to arm extremists like ISIS & because young peoples' minds are vulnerable & still developing amongst confusion, mayhem & lack of clarity amongst our collective obsession in labelling people such as religious of any sort or athiests or secular! I firmly believe that people of allegedly christian faith have killed far too many muslims & vica verca, just like germans killed far too many jews & roms & more recently jews have killed far too many palestinians & ... !, to sum this up we world wide need to get on with either our own religion or Not & accept that our world of religious 'allsorts' corresponds with the world-regional culture & people we are & that world & regional differences are obvious! In short we need to accept eachothers differences as 'I'm ok & so are you' & Reject Extremists & associated organisations like ISIS, religious or not! Who knows?...if we can conclude peacefully perhaps our youth (mostly 13-17 yo) will have enough 'grown up' adult examples to look up to instead of this childish & obsurd debate over which religion is the ONE or the worst One!? just makes us look & seem like adults in Toddlers clothing!!! Peace & truth to all of you! =°^°=
