OpenAFS for Stanford

Stanford OpenAFS is used to mount mount AFS directories to your Windows Explorer or Mac desktop, to use similarly to the way you would work with other folders. You can access your own AFS space, or space in other user, group, class, and department directories, provided you have been granted the necessary permissions.

Stanford OpenAFS provides an alternative to SFTP clients, such as SecureFX (for Windows) or Fetch (for Macs), for those who frequently access files in AFS.
