In 2004, Google changed email forever with Gmail. Just a few years later, millions of people had a Google account. But Google offers more than email alone. Your Google account is used to manage your YouTube videos, Google Calendar, the Google Play store for your Android device, and much more. In this course, we will cover ways to keep your account safe with two-factor authentication, display mail in the way that’s most convenient for you, share only what you want to share in Photos, Google+, and YouTube, and help make your life easier by letting Google know a little without knowing everything. Finally, we will investigate some lesser-known Google tools such as Google Voice, Google Docs, and Google Hangouts.

Students are required to bring a fully charged laptop to class.

Due to its short format, this workshop may not be taken for Credit or a Letter Grade.
