Please join us on October 23 and October 24 when the Program in Bioethics and Film and UNAFF will co-present films at the Stanford Medical School as part of the 18th United Nations Association Film Festival. Screening sessions will also include free admission to panel discussions exploring “The Quest for Health” on 10/23 and “The Elimination of Violence against Women” on 10/24.

The award-winning film Capturing Grace tells the story of what happens when the legendary Mark Morris Dance Group joins forces with people with Parkinson's disease to stage a unique performance. Followed by a discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Dave Iverson, Dr. Helen Bronte Stewart, Director of Stanford Movement Disorders Center and David Leventhal, celebrated dancer and program director of Dance for PD ®. Moderator, Dr. Maren Graniger-Monsen, Stanford Center for Biomedical Ethics.
Maren Grainger-Monsen, MD will be the moderator for the panel discussion on both days.
