HOUSING TRUST FUND - NOTICE OF PREDEVELOPMENT FUNDS AVAILABLE

The City of Berkeley is requesting applications for predevelopment funding from the City's Housing Trust Fund.  The City is seeking to develop a pipeline of affordable housing development projects.  The City currently has nearly $1.2 million in its Housing Trust Fund.  Funding is available for predevelopment costs associated with affordable housing development including new construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation.  Proposals submitted by 12:00 NOON on MONDAY, MAY 23rd will be evaluated as group before subsequent applications are considered. After reviewing the materials, contact Amy Davidson (Adavidson@cityofberkeley.info) with any questions.

Notice of Funds Available:

The City of Berkeley created its Housing Trust Fund (HTF) in 1990. A housing trust fund is a program that pools funds for affordable housing construction from a variety of sources with different requirements, and makes them available through one single application process to local developers.
