Critical Care

The Critical Care Services team diagnoses and manages children with life-threatening, critical illnesses. We work with specialists in all medical and surgical specialties to care for children:

With life-threatening conditions
Who have had an organ transplant
Who require forms of mechanical ventilation (e.g., high frequency ventilation, ECMO)
Who require forms of therapy only available at very specialized (tertiary) care facilities
