Vascular Anomalies

At Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, we have a multidisciplinary team of physicians, specialists, and surgeons working together to care for the unique needs of children with Vascular Anomalies. Our Vascular Anomalies Clinic provides child-centered consultation from a team of doctors, including diagnosis, treatment and education regarding a variety of conditions, such as:

  • Hemangiomas
  • Lymphatic vascular malformations
Through an NIH-funded research grant, our physician scientists are working to develop new treatments for this challenging congenital disorder.

We are currently looking for young patients to participate in this study. To learn more about our new clinical trial, visit clinical trials.gov

  • Venous malformations - a raised, red or purple mark in the skin, made up of enlarged blood vessels.
  • Other complex vascular tumors and malformations

You and your child will meet with our vascular anomalies team to determine your child’s possible therapeutic options and to work with you to develop an ongoing treatment plan. Our interdisciplinary team consists of pediatric dermatologists, otolaryngologists, plastic surgeons, radiologists, interventional radiologists and general surgeons. Together, they will educate you about your child’s condition and the important role you play in your child’s treatment and care.
