Your gift ensures the prestigious CASBS fellowship program continues to attract the world’s best researchers in the social and behavioral sciences. Gifts can also support our groundbreaking workshops, discussions, and research projects.

Annual Giving
Annual gifts from past fellows, visiting scholars, and friends support the work of the Center. Scholars who have benefited from the opportunities afforded by time spent at CASBS—broadening of perspectives, reassessment of intellectual positions, and consideration of alternative methods and views through sustained interaction with others—have generously given back to CASBS through the annual fund.
To attract the very best fellows and respond to new and ever more complex issues, the Center needs to consistently increase annual support. Gifts made to CASBS stay with the Center and are spent exclusively on our fellows and programs.
Planned Giving
Forms of giving such as life income gifts and estate bequests create opportunities for both our donors and CASBS. Choosing the right planned gift depends on your personal circumstances and financial goals.
The Live Oak Society recognizes the growing number of supporters who have included the Center in their estate plans. If you have already made arrangements to remember CASBS in your estate plans please allow us to honor your support. Contact casbs-giving@stanford.edu or call the Center at (650) 736-0750. Donors also have the option of being recognized in Stanford’s Founding Grant Society.
Endowment Gifts
Gifts to the endowed fund last in perpetuity, with only the payout from the fund spent each year to support the Center's goals and priorities. Your gifts to the CASBS endowment support the Center forever, providing a stable financial foundation for our academic mission.
