ACS Alfred Bader Award in Bioinorganic or Bioorganic Chemistry

 

Professor Ed Solomon, the Monroe E. Spaght Professor in Chemistry and Professor of Photo Science, has been awarded the Alfred Bader Award in Bioinorganic or Bioorganic Chemistry by the American Chemical Society for developing spectroscopic methods and defining electronic structure contributions to function in electron transfer and dioxygen activation and reduction by copper and iron metalloenzymes.  He will be honored at an awards ceremony and associated symposium in conjunction with the 251st ACS national meeting in San Diego.
