Location: The Row (Map showing Kappa Alpha Theta)
Kappa Alpha Theta is a University-owned Sorority house with 57 residents. Despite being a house full of girls, the relaxed atmosphere of Theta makes it an amazing place to call home. From the well-stocked open kitchen, to the amazing chef Casey and our hasher Yolanda, most Thetas make an effort to be home for all meals.
The diversity of activities that Thetas are involved in on campus makes the Theta house particularly busy and interesting. The house staff is a separate group of managers that deals with the everyday functioning of the house and its residents. Our staff includes the RCC, Peer Health Educator, Community Manager, Operations Manager, Kitchen Manager, Financial Manager and the RA. Complementing the house staff is the Theta Executive board that helps with things like house beautification, chapter functions and social events. Because not all active members live in the house, both house staff and the Theta Executive board are focused on the whole chapter and not just the sophomores and seniors that typically live in the house.
Theta is well known for its location in the back of the Cowell cluster that makes the house quiet and private, yet with a great location to go anywhere on campus, or hanging out on Cowell lawn. The Kappa Alpha Theta house is a distinct, diverse and outgoing community that makes residents never want to move out.
