Dengue, West Nile, and Zika are all viruses transmitted by mosquitoes
Most of the viral diseases transmitted by mosquitoes are caused by RNA viruses. One group of RNA viruses, the flavivirus, includes yellow fever, dengue, West Nile, Japanese encephalitis, St. Louis encephalitis, and Zika. Together, through a series of epidemics, this group of viruses has caused significant human health problems throughout human history. This collection highlights some of the resources that feature these viruses.
