Welcome to our website! Here you will find information regarding our national history, the legacy of Xi Beta, as well as the community service, programs, and accomplishments of the current chapter.
As the first African American interest sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha prides herself on catering to the needs of African Americans through our service and strengthening the bonds among African American women through our sisterhood. For more than 100 years, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority has been dedicated to providing women and people of color with a voice and the resources needed to improve their wellbeing and the status of their communities. Xi Beta is no different.
The Xi Beta Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. at Stanford University has a longstanding history of excellence in service since our charter in 1981. Under the Launching New Dimensions of Service program initiatives of our International President, Dorothy Buckhanan Wilson, we have dedicated our programming and community service to female empowerment and minority health, as well as celebrated the bonds of sisterhood among both past and present members.
