USDA Hall of Heroes Award Program

Background Information

The Hall of Heroes Award Program was initiated by Secretary Glickman in May 1999 as part of the Department's Millennium activities. The program is announced at the will of the Secretary and coordinated with the Office of Congressional Relations. The purpose of the Hall of Heroes program is to recognize contributions with a direct and lasting impact on national and international agriculture and related programs.
