Evidence for Action will fund innovative studies on the impact programs, policies, and partnerships can have on health and well-being, with a particular focus on research that will advance health equity. NIH funds a new health disparities research center

Stanford launches heart-health app

Just nine days after the launch of Stanford Medicine’s MyHeart Counts iPhone app, 27,836 people have consented to participate in this research study on cardiovascular health.


Biodesign
Biodesign textbook and video library available

A new edition of "Biodesign: The Process of Innovating Medical Technologies" is now available, along with a library of nearly 300 videos that reinforce key concepts in the biodesign innovation process, from need findings to regulatory approval.
