Postdoctoral Administrators

Department administrators play a crucial role in supporting Stanford postdocs. They provide a major line of communication, and ensure accurate records, clear policy guidelines, and access to the multitide of resources avaialble on campus. The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) works closely with all administrators to support training, trouble-shooting, and communication.

Postdoctoral scholar administration at Stanford is governed by the University’s policy on postdoctoral scholars, guidelines and procedures reflected on this website, and other sets of standard business practices that meet internal and external regulations, including immigration for foreign scholars. All appointment-related actions are managed online via the PeopleSoft Postdoc Web Forms.
