Hillel@Stanford has a comprehensive Jewish learning vision for students during their journey at Stanford that strives to see Jewish life and individual Jews deepen their understanding of their culture, language, folkways, food, prayer, dance…to arrive at a multivalued Jewish identity. In this way, we transform ourselves, the Jewish world, and the larger world as we become more aware of who we are as individuals and as a people.
Maimonides Fellowship: Students participate in 2.5 - 3 hours per week of in-depth Jewish learning with Rabbi Kamin. This is an opportunity to explore traditional Judaism in a dynamic environment. Beit Midrash: Hillel has a wonderful selection of weekly learning opportunities. On Thursday nights, Rabbi Daniel Silverstein and visiting scholars lead an illuminating group discussion on the Torah Portion of the Week open to everyone — beginners are welcome and encouraged. The Robert Levison, Jr. ‘48 Fellowship: This dynamic, multifaceted learning opportunity for Jewish undergraduate students at Stanford is designed to promote an integrated and broad perspective of leadership informed by Jewish tradition and thought. My Search for Meaning: The My Search for Meaning series presents a great opportunity for students to interact with Stanford faculty with a connection to Judaism. Faculty who wish to share their reflections and 
insights with students are invited to join the Hillel community for small lunch gatherings at Hillel where they have the chance to share their thoughtsabout life and meaning. Featured faculty at these events range from artistic scholars such as Professor Mark Applebaum to renowned scientists such as Professor Robert Sapolsky. MsM gatherings offer an intellectually stimulating and enriching experience, a rare opportunity to interact with faculty outside the classroom, and a chance to reflect and learn from teachers with a connection to Hillel on the Farm. Taube Center for Jewish Studies at Stanford: The Taube Center for Jewish Studies offers an interdisciplinary program for the study and understanding of Jewish cultures, literatures, languages, religion, politics, and history. Educational activities include a rich menu of courses, an undergraduate major and minor, an ongoing colloquium on Jews, Judaism and Jewish culture geared toward graduate students, and graduate fellowship and other kinds of support to help develop the next generation of Jewish Studies scholars.
