Superfund: NPL Deletion Federal Register Templates
This page contains templates for use in the NPL deletion process. The direct final rulemaking process, also called the direct deletion process, is appropriate for sites where deletion is expected to be non‐controversial, and EPA does not anticipate adverse comments during the comment period. If adverse comments are anticipated, use of the two‐step final rulemaking process is recommended to ensure ample opportunity to address any such comments received.
