St. Baldrick's Foundation-Pediatric Cancer
2019 Fellowship Award

*Limited award-only ONE applicant is permitted. This award is for two years of fellowship training, with a possible additional year of funding based upon the demonstration of need and significant accomplishment. (See eligibility below for details.) These awards are granted for 3rd and 4th or 4th and 5th years of pediatric oncology research, with an opportunity for one (1) additional year of funding based upon need, significant accomplishment, and approved application.

St. Baldrick’s Foundation funds biomedical research in order to better understand the causes of pediatric cancers and to advance its prevention, treatment, and cure. The main output of this research is new knowledge.

Applicant selected notified by SCI: June 29, 2018
For applicant selected:
Institutional representative deadline-prior to the LOI submission (RPM/RMG): July 6, 2018, 12 noon**
**the Letter of intent (LOI) requires a signature page which must be signed by the applicant's RPM in RMG.

Purpose:

St. Baldrick’s funds may not be used for human embryonic stem cell research

Selection process
Your proposals will be reviewed by the Stanford Cancer Institute review committee. Denise Baughman will notify the applicant selected by June 29th so he/she can submit the Letter of intent to his/her RPM to sign by July 6, 2018.
