Restoring the Klamath River

EPA has approved California's water quality improvement plan for restoring salmon fisheries and water quality in the Klamath River, which flows 255 miles southwest from Oregon through northern California, and empties into the Pacific Ocean. Many Native American tribes live along the Klamath and rely on the river for subsistence, transportation and ceremony, as they have for thousands of years.
