Asian American Sib Program
The Asian American Sib (AASIB) program aims to help incoming frosh and transfer students transition into the Stanford community by matching new students with upperclass students and exposing them to the various components of the Asian American community on campus.
The AASIB Program is open to all students and matches first-year students with a sib family (more affectionately known as “SibFams”). Each SibFam consists of new students who are called lil sibs matched with upperclass students known as big sibs. Sibfams are created based on similar academic interests, majors, hobbies or personal pursuits.
