Entry to the East Asia Library requires a valid Stanford ID Card, or visitor registration with a valid government-issued photo ID card. Borrowing is limited to Stanford faculty, students and staff with a valid Stanford ID, UC Berkeley ID holders, and UC students with a UC/Stanford Reciprocal Services Program card.
Access to SUL technical services departments (Acquisitions, Metadata, Preservation) are by appointment only.

Location
Lathrop Library is directly east of the Oval, and adjacent to Memorial Hall. There are multiple public entrances.
Transit and Parking
Marguerite lines X, Y, and P run close to Lathrop Library, with stops at Serra and Galvez Streets (X, Y) and the campus Oval (P). Pay & Display visitor permit parking may be found at the Visitor Center/Track House lot and Memorial Way. The campus Oval includes a small number of coin-metered spaces.
Accessibility
Lathrop Library is wheelchair-accessible. An elevator services all floors.
