PeopleSoft is the system of record for academic and personnel administration at Stanford. Virtually all members of the Stanford community (students, staff, faculty, administrators, etc.) interact with PeopleSoft through the Axess portal.
PeopleSoft Human Capital Management applications at Stanford include:
- Workforce — core module for labor management
- Benefits — core module for benefits administration including medical and life insurance, retirement program, vacation, and other university benefits
- Payroll — semi-monthly payroll processing engine
- Non-Employee Affiliate — record administration for visiting scholars, faculty, and researchers.
- Time and Labor — employee time entry system, interfaces to payroll
- ePerformance/Simple Eval — web-based application for employee evaluation and manager review
